Composting Toilets | Nature Loo | Rota Loo | Clivus Multrum | Grey Water Treatment
Grey water is the stuff that comes from your shower, laundry and sometimes the kitchen too. This so called waste water is too good to waste and can be used to irrigate fruit trees, lawns or gardens.
Grey water should not be used on vegetables because of the risk of pathogens being transferred to food.
The Solar Workshop can supply primary treatment grey water units. This means that the water has been filtered only and has not had any further treatment to remove bugs etc. The output from the units is usually dealt with by subsurface irrigation, in a system of trenches lined with ag pipe or drip line.
